Experimenting | Oil & Water
So far this whole “Quarantine” “Social Distancing” is making me go INSANE. Honestly, as an artist, this is so surreal and honestly creates a mental strain on the whole creation. I normally photograph people and when you are limited on who to shoot, you are stuck with things around your household. This has been not only a journey on self-improvement but also pushing boundaries on how creative I can get.
In light of the matter, I’m experimenting with Oil & Water. I’m so fascinated with how they don’t merge and the science behind it. Chemicals that don’t mix are said to be immiscible. The reason this occurs is because of the chemical nature of their molecules. Now that’s too scientific for me.
The set up is super simple for this.
