In the transformative year of 2020, a pivotal global event unfolded, forever altering our lives. Dubbed the "year of COVID," its widespread impact inspired my introspective "Scent" series. During mandatory quarantine, confined to my home, I found solace and inspiration amidst the solitude.
"Scent" blossomed from this period of confinement, revealing unexpected beauty in the everyday. Each flower's name was chosen to evoke personal memories and emotions. This project challenged me to push beyond familiar boundaries, exploring new techniques and perspectives in photography.
As the saying goes, innovation and creativity often emerge from setbacks and challenges. Embracing these limitations unlocked a surge of creativity, reminding me of the profound role boredom plays in nurturing our innermost talents.
