Joivan Wade & David Bianchi with powerful spoken word short film. Hear Me written by David Bianchi (Queen of The South) and Joivan Wade (Cyborg in Doom Patrol) uncovers two perspectives of a shared experience in quarantine during the global pandemic. These poets cleverly illustrate two international perspectives melded into one to create a common vision of insecurity, uncertainty, vision and inspiration all at once. The film was produced in support of the global #HearMe movement. #HearMe is a portrait series developed by Isaac Alvarez to help highlight the positive experiences of celebrities, influencers, and ordinary people during the stay at home orders. A series that uses written signs in portrait format illustrating their feelings during social distancing.

Hear ME is a movement all about spreading positivity through a message captured on a Video Call. There is so much focused on COVID-19 that we miss everything that is happening throughout our community. The reality is we are all experiencing this together and everyone has their own journey. With this movement I wanted to share not only my experience buy everyone’s journey through the message that each person holds. It's all about sharing where we are and what we are going through. Some people wrote what they missed and some wrote something positive that they are holding on to. Regardless of who, what, when, where, and why, we all have something to say. So let us all #HearME and share your message because we are #AloneTogether.
In today's society, our global economic change is impacting everyone's livelihood. This has put a major crutch on everyone's way of life especially all the creatives out there. Everyone is silent throughout this pandemic and our ability to be heard is clouded by COVID-19. James Baldwin once said, "Not everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it is faced". This gave birth to the "Hear ME" movement. A Video Called captured portrait with the note that our subjects want to relay. From something they missed to how it impacted them and just merely spreading POSITIVITY around our community. These are the messages they kept inside within their quarantine faze. My goal is to let people express how they feel and what they're going through in the midst of the chaos. As human beings we will overcome this event of our life, we will either find a way or make one. With struggles and failure, we find success as we pull together as one big community. For now, we will take this time to spread POSITIVITY through our messages and have our world #HearME. We are all #AloneTogether.
