Burst of Reality
Life is one big road with lots of signs. So when you're riding through the ruts, don't complicate your mind. Flee from hate, mischief, and jealousy. Don't bury your thoughts, put your vision to reality. Wake Up and Live! This is what most reality stars have in their minds but merely just a thought that lingers and soon subsided. Living like a Rockstar is more suited if you ask me. I stayed behind the scenes and enjoyed a celebration that occurred once a year "The Reality Awards".
I had a blast this year and I thank you again, Kristen Moss, John Barra & Andrew Ward for giving me the opportunity to create some cinematic set backstage. This year we celebrated it at the Supperclub in Hollywood. Great venue and awesome interior. Instead of photographing the stars on a plain background I saw an opportunity to shoot them in a nice U shape couch backstage. The mood was perfect and space was more than I can ask for. I used 3 lightings with a hint of red bulbs all around the area. 2 Hot Lamps on the sides and 1 directly pointing down. The images came out dark and moody, exactly how I wanted it to be. Of course with the help of Reality Stars posing dramatically, it framed the overall mood of the photo. Awesome turnout, so here are the photos that were taken.
