Cafe Portraits
This shot was captured at Bon Vivant utilizing only natural light. There was a bit window adjacent to Sawyer which gave us a natural tone on his skin. I angled him the same way I would angle a strobe and captured the Rembrandt lighting on his face.
Garage Portraits
I captured this around 1 pm/2 pm PST. The sun was at its highest while utilizing the ambient light that seeps through the opening of the parking garage. Giving Sawyer a nice highlight on his skin.
1st Studio Portraits
This shot was a 1 light set up. I wanted to create a mystery feel with Sawyer. I tend to go with 1 light set ups when I want to capture that mood driven by emotions.
2nd studio portraits
With this shot I wanted to utilize 2 strobe lights. The main light was set in the front pointing down while the other one was behind him giving him some nice hair light. The back light was a bit stronger at 1/4 power while the front was set to 1/8 power. This gave him a subtle glow on the face.
